Volunteer at the Museum of Idaho

NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED!!
Volunteers receive the following benefits:

Volunteer Opportunities in the Following Positions:
- Receptionist/Cashier - greet patrons and accept payment for entry,
sell merchandise in store, answer phones.
- Docent/Guide - watch over exhibit, direct patron traffic, maintain proper atmosphere in
museum, answer basic questions.
- Security - Instruct bus drivers and school groups on Museum of Idaho protocol, secure
front door access and egress, secure cameras and audio wands, monitor our visitors and address
any security concerns that may arise.
- Children's Discovery Room Supervisor - supervise the many activities that are available to
children including; computer activities, books, costumes, animal tracking and cave exploring.
Does not include babysitting, only assisting with learning activities.
- Brochure Deliverer - work with committee to deliver brochures and posters throughout region.
- Install/Destall - assist with the installation and tear-down of exhibits.
- Data entry - assist with various clerical duties.
